I begin to wonder if BT may possibly be supplying Cabinet Members of Cornwall Council with hallucinogenic drugs. Otherwise, their support for this ‘mega’ outsourcing deal appears completely inexplicable.
If this deal goes ahead, I can only feel sympathy for the council tax payers of Cornwall and the customers of other agencies who choose to go along with this deal, as they will end-up paying for the inevitable failure of this deal for years to come – just as night follows day.
How much extra evidence is needed to convince councillors in Cornwall to understand that this outsourcing deal is doomed to failure?
